Josh Garton Sous Chef
Born and raised in rural Western Nebraska, Sous Chef Joshua Garton grew up on his grandfather's hog farm and worked on many farms and ranches growing up.
After graduating from Scottsdale Culinary Institute, Chef Josh worked under executive chef Brian Cauley at Mark Tarbell’s Barmouche. He then became Sous Chef at Country Club at Castle Pines, one of Colorado’s premier private golf clubs.
Upon moving back to Phoenix, Arizona, Chef Josh worked as pantry/pastry cook and off-site catering chef for Tarbell’s under chef Paul Steele.
He then became Sous Chef of Oscar Pike’s in Galena, Illinois, and has since transitioned with the staff to One Eleven Main.
Chef Josh loves to use a wide variety of ingredients. He feels even the simplest recipe can be made better by improving technique and having a reverence for the products used.
His Midwest roots and background in agriculture are apparent through his deep respect for the growers and producers of the products he uses.
