Badger Hill Farm
Badger Hill Farm (BHF) is a micro-farm specializing in open-pollinated heirloom vegetables for One Eleven Main.
Badger Hill Farm is operated by the Ritterbusch Family in Shullsburg, Wisconsin. They have grown heirloom vegetables and provided foraged items for One Eleven Main since 2009.
Cory Ritterbusch, a local restoration ecologist and historian, has been a lifelong gardener. Coming from a family of German truck farmers, he is extending a family tradition. At BHF he oversees field operations and deliveries.
His wife, Emily Lubcke, has a degree in botany from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and works as the Natural Resource Manager for The Galena Territory. She coordinates the planting schedules, crop rotations and purchasing. Along with their two sons, Badger Hill Farm carries on a tradition of knowledge and passion for food growing that is being shared with the next generation.
